DEFEND SENSITIVE DATA FROM ADVANCED CYBER THREATS 

Research organizations, academic institutions, and technology companies face increasing threats of cyberattacks every year. These cyber-attacks pose the most significant risk to open and secure science, research, and technology development. It is now, more important than ever, for the IT and cybersecurity professionals at organizations that manage and handle sensitive research to have the adequate knowledge to prevent, detect, and respond to these cyber threats.

These certifications will provide selected applicants with the knowledge and skills to better protect their institution’s sensitive research and data. 

Eligibility: Who Should Apply?

• Eligible Positions: IT managers, IT specialists, cybersecurity specialists, and other relevant personnel 
• Eligible Institutions: Universities and academic institutions, public and private research organizations, and private companies that create, manage, or handle sensitive information and data in areas of research or technology deemed weapons-applicable such as artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML), biotechnologies, and quantum computing/high-performance computing, aircraft and aerospace engineering, microelectronics/semi-conductors and chips, deep space exploration, military or proliferation-sensitive technology;
• Eligible Countries: Please note that sponsorship is currently only available for individuals located in the following countries: Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Morocco, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine, and Vietnam
